*beams* it's been a great week! haven't felt this liberated in a looonngg time! well snapshots from grad night and others are up! tj people aren't that bad looking after all.. was so nice to see everyone although the emcee sucked.. it was pretty nostalgic and it was good.. andy and jolene met us after grad nite and we went to Harry's after which we went over to sleep over at jh's place, conceding defeat that "Risk" is not a good board game at three in the morning.. i guess it's one of those times you know where it's probably one of the last times you're ever gonna hang out with friends like that.. oh! and there was the class reunion yesterday. it was so nice to meet up with ur sec 4 classmates all over again.. it brought back so much memories and all the little things we did together- screaming, crying and running like hell during pe and jogging. *sigh* it's that time of the year where everything is coming to an end and this year seems to be especially true. meeting up with my sec 4 classmates made me realise how it's very hard to keep in contact and drifting apart seems to be inevitable. perhaps it is the persistent problem i have of knowing too many people at one point in time which only prevents me from forming/neglecting any close friendships. well but it was heartwarming to sit with my ex-classmates by the beach.. talking into the WEE hours of the morning (saliha u shld know what i'm punning at *winks*)

well maybe, friendships do actually stand the test of time. it's not cynicism here but just reality... everything is transient. so why hold on to anything that you'll have to eventually let go off? i was watching dvd's with jh today and after "life is beautiful" it hit me that sometimes, being so optimistic as roberto benigni was gets you no where. i mean sure he saved his son.. but if he had perhaps resigned to fate, he would have never gone in search for Dora and would have never been killed -just.like.that. Well it was a beautiful movie nonetheless. and you're right andy, i teared. so in this 1 month before i start relief teaching, i'll watch all the movies i want to, sign up for tennis and start planning for all the hols.. i'll take my time to unwind and do the little things that matter to me the most and spending more time with the special people in my life! i sometimes fail to see the beauty in life and like the movie, the charm and wit made it that less upsetting. so i'll have fun and just enjoy life, for now.

"I started out clean but I’m jaded
Just phoning it in, just breaking the skin
Can you help me I’m bent
I’m so scared that I’ll never,
get put back together...."
