5.16pm; monday

as promised, i won't take forever to update my blog :) hello everyone! i miss you tonnes but i'm doing fine actually and i think embracing this whole experience with the right attitude is real important :) it's awfully cold and am moisturising like crazy. hah. we had seafood on sunday and the oysters were sooo good though it had my cousin a tad queasy. met my uncle who flew in today and had lunch. it's been good so far but it's tomorrow when everything really begins. first day of school. i remember feeling EXACTLY like this when i was 13. Not entirely averse to the whole idea of leaving a part of my life behind but terribly apprehensive *crosses fingers*. i remember telling a few friends before i left, how i feared walking into class with eyes looking on keenly at me, wondering who this student was. Feeling vulnerable, I  would sit myself down hoping class would end soon. *bah* i hope it won't be awful. i wished i had attended orienatation. on another note, i went down to the city today and saw nice boots and was wishing dearly that my shopping pals would be there to give me their two cents worth. didn't buy them in the end :( oh well, i better unpack the groceries. oh yes i bought myself a jamie oliver dvd *grins*

"To think that only yesterday,I was cheerful, bright and gay.
Looking forward to, who wouldn’t do,
the role I was about to play...."
