9.37pm; saturday

after much prodding, here i am :) i had a splendid week. my aunt flew in on monday and she's been whipping up good food everyday. reckon we went through 20 types of dishes throughout the week. we had a farewell dinner at lygon st and it was really good. i really love good food and even more so when i have people to share it with. i wish you guys were here. classes weren't too bad though i didn't do readings this week. crap. i'll buck up this weekend, do my readings and finish my business law assignment tonight, no matter how long it takes. *sigh*

the week seemed to whizz by. i remember slaving over my laptop to finish up ser A, trying so hard not to ramble through the essay and having a nice chat with sooch online :).. wednesday i went to the post office to send out letters and was shocked after all that stamps and parcels got totalled up, and the lady at the cashier said "fifty dollars please". wide eyed, i paid her and left. also checked out shoes and i decided i would wait for the spring/summer ones. we had a debate for legal process on thurs. it was crazy, we only had 15 mins to prepare. i got thrusted to be first speaker and i think i did alright except parts where i rambled on and repeated myself quite a bit, for e.g. "that judges do make law is indeed true. when it becomes impossible to apply the common law to cases due to social changes and expectations, a judge is forced to create a new precedent when facts differ and applying the doctrine of precedent becomes impossible due to social changes and expectations." argh. jh, andy and jolene would know. i just repeat myself, a LOT. venetia came over at night and we had dinner and watched amelie. i really enjoyed her company and oh amelie was such a good show! then came friday. i decided to go home and not to the library to study after class because statutory interpretation muddled me pretty bad. i really must learn to read statutes. flicked the tv on at home and watched the match. roddick lost :( ah bugger. went for tennis after that and it was great :))) except.. for the part where i picked up the stray balls that fell into puddles of water and unwittingly said to my coach, "your balls are wet". (not a freudian slip) haha. i got to watch Ed this morning and spent the day just cleaning up the apartment. jh called and you made my day babe :) haha, what i would give for a day of air hockey, food, shopping and the arcade!

hmm, a long post eh. makes up for the hiatus. i hope everyone's doing well. i miss simpang-ing with nicole and shikin. oh i better go. hmm, it's awfully cold tonight.

"..and hope that my dreams will come true..
And then while I'm away,
I'll write home everyday
And I'll send all my loving to you
-all my loving, the beatles"
