8.24pm, friday

there’s something very sombre about watching the rain. It waters down whatever may be swirling in your head and calms you down. It’s almost hypnotic as your intense stare turns into a dreamy gaze.. and everything greys to a blur. You then unconsciously start to think about the things and people in your life. It’s such an irony, because the very thing that drew me to the rain- to clear my head, has inadvertently created a furore.

I’ve been having bad headaches since about 5, my temples throbbing relentlessly. It’s not particularly excruciating, but like the rain, the steady beating persists. i think i’m falling sick, despite all that vitamin pills. And with a heavy heart, i remind myself of the impending exams *sigh*.. Reprieve from the tumult of each day comes when I plug into my ipod and let the music inundate and subsume me. But I’m glad there are increasingly more things that make my day :) oh i bought 2 dvds yesterday, james dean’s rebel without a cause and audrey hepburn’s sabrina. I don’t think i’ll actually find the time to watch it anytime soon; but I guess will when I can. I’m particularly missing everyone back home tonight and the headache is not helping. Hmm, i think i’ll go to bed now.

Please tell me you're going to"
