saturday; 8.57am

it's been scorching hot and it felt like being on a rotisserie each time i went out. :( it went up to 38 degrees on thursday and it doesn't seem to help that i have a window wound open to its maximum at night. the heat, among other things, leaves me tossing and turning, sleeping listlessly. and yet, summer's lease hath all too short a date with the imminence of the new school sem and the inundating amount of work and readings it brings. my timetable is pretty alright with one lect on mon &weds and full days on tues and thurs. but it's flipping me out that int'l law of the sea is a 3hr lect *gulps* . bah. well all the more, have a great weekend!

"and i cannot find a safety haven
say, would you let me cry on your shoulder"
- let me kiss you, nancy sinatra
