monday blues; 10.28pm

the travelogue was getting too cumbersome (although it seemed like a good idea at that time) so i substituted it instead with just a link to the photos. the commonwealth games are in full swing and the city is filled with people in face paints with their national flags draped on their backs. all the patriotism can be quite charming until you find yourself caught in the stream of people clogging up all the trains/trams. for the most part, it does add a buzz in the air, but i'm also cranky for it's the monday blues. i don't think i could muster what's left of my energy to expound fully on what's been chipping away at me but suffice to say, it's been a hard day's night.

I keep the ends out for the tie that binds"
- i walk the line, johnny cash
