they're playing on clay in monte carlo which must mean the french open must be around the corner (yay!). i was trying to watch nadal and coria have a go at each other but it was so hard to follow that yellow ball zip, from one end to the other, across the vermillion court. my eyes dart back and forth but sometimes i hold my gaze, unsure of where the ball is, because it seems to be a speck lost in that sea of orange-red. i gave up when nadal won break point and retreated into my room. and at risk of sounding like a geek, i'm very much enjoying the essay for cels. and although the easter hols haven't been as productive as i'd like it to be, i guess i'm making up for it with the headway in getting the groundwork done for the essay. have a happy weekend !

youth is like diamonds in the sun,
diamonds are forever"
