it's a bit of an awkward feeling, the kind that pulls you in two different directions. one one hand, there's the incredible amount of work to be done and errands to run that weighs you down and on the other there's the anticipation that comes from waiting for viz moot interview results to be released and the nervous excitement from the int'l organizations take home exam that will be handed out soon (ok i'm a geek). it is a weariness from all the work coupled with a sense of mild excitement from what is to come which lingers to leave me unsettled and shifty. the intensity at this time of the semested is draining and exhausting to say the least. and so i find catharsis in cooking, comfort in the familiar and seek order in the monotony of list making. so here's one on a lackadaisical saturday morning.
