Saturday, 5.36pm

Earlier this week, I saw the pink rays of the morning peek through my blinds.  I hopped out of bed, pulled my blinds up and ran back under the covers, reluctant to brave the cold winter morning.  I lay in bed, peering out of my window and at the red streaks across the morning sky.  The bare trees swayed gently and as the moments passed, the branches seemed to sweep away the traces of red, leaving behind salmon hues, before it too faded into a blush pink until only the bright blue sky remained.  I lay there a little longer, watching the morning unfold as the warm yellow of the morning stream through my window.

Today, I was walking through the city going about my weekend when a busker played a song that I've been listening to all week.  It may sound crazy, but of all the songs in all the towns in the world, he had to play mine.
