John Finley, a Harvard classicist once wrote to Jackie O thanking her for an evening she had organised where he met another fabulous mind and whom he connected with.  Mr Finley had enjoyed and engaged in repartee with IF Stone, a respected journalist.  Mr Finley said to Mrs Onassis - Where do all those light summer seeds that float in the August wind come to earth?   One will never know.  They float like thoughts into the future, and one can only give thanks for them and for the breeze that started them, a kindred breeze. Very admiringly and gratefully, John Finley.

"Things you say and do just thrill me through and through,"
- I'm getting sentimental over you, Ella Fitzgerald
