About Rose:
I grew up in Singapore, lived in Melbourne but currently call London home. I love gastronomic adventures, especially while travelling. I stated writing at 17 to remember how it all began.

Sunday, 9.40am

It is a rare Sunday morning I have to myself. I have crawled back into bed and pulled the duvet over me. Sitting on the window sill are two slices of Irish brown bread that I have curiously lathered with peanut butter and a steaming cup of tea. I am not sure I will be moving at all from this perch for a little while but I think that's okay.

I spoke to Slvia, an old friend from Melbourne, yesterday who gave me much needed perspective on life, love and health. I am grateful for those conversations and the enduring friendships near and far. As I look back on the week I spent in Malta, I am reminded to have faith and more importantly courage in the things that challenge me.
