"I just won the US Open, I just won the US Open," a delirious Roddick told his mother.
A more overwhelmed Blanche replied, "You just won the US Open, you just won the US Open."

*yay*andy roddick wins the US open! :) when he fell to the floor and started crying upon winning his last match point.. you know that hard work always pays off.. just as well that he looks sooo good too.. :D all those waking up at 4am to watch matches was worth it although they did leave me a little groggy throughout the day... fererro was such a good opponent but he played much better in the semis.. and the women's finals was good too although the semi's between capriati and hardenne was an absolute thriller.. it was the best women's tennis match i've seen! not that i've been watching tennis all my life.. but you'd understand me if you had watched it.. well US open's over and just as well, i have to get back to my books.. kinda breezed through work last week.. and am freaking out that i have so little time left.. ok.. i'm just starting to get anxious and i'm pretty sure by the end of the week i'll be tearing my hair out and be full of regrets, wishing i didn't bum around... well i'll just hit the books and pray that my prelims turn out ok.. my couch potato days have to be over, no more TV! ... study well all, don't burn out.. remember it's the As that matters... oh wait.. there's jamie oliver at noon....

"You know you look so good (look so good)
You know you got me goin' now (got me goin)
Just like I knew you would (just like i knew you would)"
-twist and shout, the beatles
