10.26pm; thursday

it's been some time since i blogged but nothing hardly changed. been pretty busy and in addition, today served only to highlight and reiterate how much of an arse parents can be. i can't wait to move out when uni starts. a decision i might come to regret, but one i'm indignantly certain of now. *bah humbug*. managed to find time to get some reading done. contemplated watching breakfast at tiffany's again but decided against it. instead, i was entertained to a really funny book. hah. and i'm barely halfway through. watched "Cheers" today and there was one part where one character quoted shakespeare as part of his wedding vow. (sonnet 18- shall i compare thee to a summer's day..) i still am very fond of that sonnet and i keenly remember the presentation we did for lit that had us singing, albeit out of key and voices quivering, and quoting shakespeare's sonnets. i did enjoy studying.. some thing i'm very much aware of right now.. ever more so as i trudge through relief teaching. it's been fun i must say. i'll miss them dearly i'm sure. you know me, the sentimental fool. but for now, i'm dreading another day of invigilation and a stack of exam papers to mark. *sigh*.. am in need of some good music..

"Well she's walking through the clouds
With a circus mind that's running round
Butterflies and zebras and moonbeams and fairy tales
That's all she ever thinks about.. riding with the wind"
