About Rose: I grew up in Singapore, lived in Melbourne but currently call London home. I love gastronomic adventures, especially while travelling. I stated writing at 17 to remember how it all began.

finally done with my int'l relations essay! i stayed up till 6 in the morning to finish it up. and my brains were fried. it was a levels all over again. hah. just that hope it pays off this time. *bated breath*.. there's tonnes of work to do and readings as usual are killing me. but oh well, let's not get into that. i finally have an answer to that charming question that adults would tease us into answering when we were little, "what do you want to be when you grow up?". I have this project going on where i have to envisage myself as a partner in a firm and we have to sort things out because there are conflicting legal issues at hand. it dawned on me that doing pro bono work, particularly in advocating environmental issues would simply be great. oh well, i hope its a dream i can actualise.
i really miss everyone and everytime i find myself brimming with excitement, wanting to gush it all out, i realise i have to contain it, keep it to myself. i don't mean to sound depressed or anything but i do miss everyone dearly. there are moments when i see/do something and i stop myself in my tracks, smiling warmly to myself because it reminded me so much of someone. but i'm glad for all the letters and e-mails :)... you make me happy. on another hand, the week was pretty good. i'm getting into the swing of things (albeit at week 5) and hope all goes well :) ooh. tennis was good *winks* i'm sure jh knows what i'm talking about. heh. there are a few good tunes swimming around in my head with australian idol going on and im irked that i can't get it uploaded to my iPod. argh. i digress.. i hope everyone's doing well. i miss simpang steaks, cookie monster cookies at the scope, the breakfast we used to whip up for each other in school and everything in between. well, i get by with a little help from my friends.
