1.57pm; saturday

the weather here is really something. just 40 mins ago there was hail pelting the balcony, then 10 mins later torrential rains and now the sun is shining. so i go out onto the balcony to bask in the sun for a while only to feel the cold 8 degree wind pierce my cheeks. and it's spring, yeah right. it's hari raya tomorrow. this year, no baju kurung to pick from, no fighting over who gets to use which jewelley and no staying up late cleaning and polishing. and on hari raya morning, i won't be the first to the kitchen to help mom arrange the kuih on the platter, or put the radio on for the songs. there's no one to visit this year :( i want to go to nenek's house and have a go at the lontong, then lament the whole day that my heels are giving me blisters. it's the little things that get to me. things like peeking to see how much money i got with each visit. and of course there's the going out with friends :)

brother just left for the airport. hmm, i better start spring cleaning and sprucing up the room. selamat hari raya everyone :)

di masa bulan ramadhan, kita berpuasa hingga sebulan
pabila syawal menjelma, hari raya disambut dengan gembira"
