have had a crazy weekend and been not getting enough sleep. i went over to sorrento again over the weekend and had one of the best weekends of my life. learnt how to fish and grilled the flatheads i caught *beams*. there's nothing like eating something you caught, there's an immeasurable satisfaction that makes everything taste that much better. it was so much fun and incredibly special and leaving was so difficult- it never is easy. mel flew in sunday night and vanessa and me met her for lunch at greco on monday and we just hung around the whole day, talking, reminiscing and enjoying every bit of it. there's something that hold us cedarians together, something that makes us innately proud of being one. later that night, i had a very good dinner with her parents and then slept over at her hotel. we also sat by yarra river just watching the flames shoot into the night sky at crown and talked for the longest time. i'm really glad she came down. i'm not doing too good and it doesn't help that i didn't sleep much over the weekend and only had about 6 hours of sleep in the last 2 days. in times like these, i'm so glad i have my friends. i can't wait for us to see each other, laugh till my cheeks hurt, revel in christmas sales, and enjoy good food. i really want to go home and be with my family and friends.
