last spring: view from balcony
i hope it isn't too warm and the weather will be as great as it was when i last took this photo. i suppose going back 2 weeks early is time i could use but the thought of school commencing seems to be such a pain in the arse. i want to have a kick ass sem- making sure i do really well and travelling into the suburbs a bit more. it'll be ven's last sem and it'll be a pity if we don't. should plans for july with jh & jolene materialise, it'll be a great way to start 2nd sem and well coldplay will be the treat to end off sem 1. oh bugger, i hope the optimism survives the gruelling year.
i'm so used to waking this early for french. i wish i could have gone on with it though. i surely miss it- pascal's sarcasm and way of inciting laughter in all of us, freezing our toes off because it's somehow way too cold in the room and of course constantly struggling to find the right words and conjugations to what we want to say but somehow almost always meaning something entirely different. or maybe it's the 5 min breaks in that 3 hours of class that we all seem to manage to have a creme brulee, sandwiches, bagels and milkshakes over chats. oh well, that's the story morning glory.
