it has been a real cold autumn. i can only imagine freezing my toes off when winter finally comes. the amount of work to be done is simply overwhelming that i've stopped worrying and just taken things stoically. one piece of work after another, methodical and efficient. the only thing that sustains me is the now dwindling supply of doughnuts, chocolates and instant noodles. but every now and then when i find my head physically aching from studying, i plug to some music and on the train the other day, randomly, here comes the sun played and it sounded so incredibly good. i'm not quite sure why it brought me so much relief but it was one of those times where i'm reminded why i love george so much. nic and shuwen saw me go on and on at quick brown fox when i met caitlyn and i suppose you'd only understand the awe and reverence i hold for the music of john, paul, george and ringo when you're equally nutty :)

it's also been a kinda strange and off beat week. just last sunday, what was to be brunch and shopping with mez on a chilly but sunny morning on bridge rd ended in hail that rained down noisily. i later also ended up meeting betty, gn's room-mate's pet bird and trying to get it to do tricks. hah. later in the week, when i met sophie to pass her her 2 dozen doughnuts, she, elena and me ended by her car eating doughnuts. we looked liked drug dealers looking so seemingly covert loitering around a carpark. then there was that time on the train with francine where i could have sworn we saw a man who looked exactly like bono, the shades too. those irreverent things that make life so queer. oh well.. hmm, back to the books.

Then I might fail to be a lawyer someday.."
