tuesday; 1.29pm

you would think that a day of errands would be dreary, so did i, but it turned out to be a great morning. i was left running for the door in the morning, hair still wet and reaching for a jumper while rushing out of the apartment as chloe was waiting. drove off to brunswick st for some breakkie at babka which turned out really good. she was telling me they had great breads there and i was waiting on my rye until they said it was too hot to slice so i had to settle for white instead :( we had a quick catch up and headed back to the city.

i had brought all the clothes i had cleared from my closet to the salvation army, then settled a tenancy transfer with the cousin leaving melb on fri. then, i had to go to the post office to drop off chrissy cards. after, got some shopping done to stock up on supplies and i decided to head back. but i stopped by for flowers at the gpo since the ones at home were looking awful. had a nice chat with the lady over which flowers would last the longest in the summer heat and she ended up giving me a dollar off my gerberas which was really sweet. i was going to have a look at the myer x'mas window display but the queue was too long. and when i was waiting for a tram back, some guy commented on my wonderwoman t-shirt (hah!) and we had a chat over marilyn monroe and him wishing me a great summer. i love simple days in the city.

in half the time it takes to blink
but it all depends on what you think
about the girls of summer"
