About Rose:
I grew up in Singapore, lived in Melbourne but currently call London home. I love gastronomic adventures, especially while travelling. I stated writing at 17 to remember how it all began.

The exams were finally done with on Friday and the weekend was definitely a time to de-stress. I vegetated on the couch with the office re-runs (!) and per Fran's advice, decided to put on hold any research for the thesis or Vis and just took a good rest. But there was no putting off the work when today came and it was full on Vis. We managed to get our heads around the main issues but the work to be done is so overwhelming that the best thing anyone can do is to take a deep breath.

Later on in the afternoon, we made our way to Caulfield park to face off for a game of ultimate frisbee with the Vis 06/07 team and boy am I going to be aching like hell tomorrow :( Jeff joined in and it was such good fun. We'd spend time in between just talking about the moot problem and it also seems like we'll be heading to Paris instead of Düsseldorf for the pre-moots since Paris is more of an arbitration centre. The realisation of what is to come is absolutely exciting but really overwhelming at the same time. While I really do relish the challenge especially when I'm lucky enough to be doing something I love, having gone through an entire semester and post-exams I'm drained and really spent. We'll be meeting everyday, including weekends (yikes), for the next 3 weeks till the Claimant's memo is due and I guess before I know it, it'll be Christmas eve and I'll be off and flying back to Singapore. But meanwhile, I'll get to the copious readings that await so I won't be an absolutely moron tomorrow.

"Can anybody fly this thing?
Before my head explodes,
Or my head starts to ring.
We’ve been living life inside a bubble,
We’ve been living life inside a bubble."
