I handed in my hons thesis last friday and with that came the end of law school (!) and another reminder that i'm leaving melbourne, for good, in just 2 short weeks. Being back in Melbourne since April was just glorious- I reconnected with a lot of friends, revelled in the company of those people I love and started nurturing a very special thing. I've been to the galleries, watched musicals, the ballet and absolutely loving the autumn and the winter wear that comes along with it.
I knew I had to do something special with the vissies before I left and so we had a murder mystery dinner party. It was set in 1967 in Chelsea, England where us 8 guests come to realise that Lord Jagged is killed. I made a dinner of bruschettas, roast chicken and potatoes, spinach and scallops and brought the famous crabapple bakery cupcakes from prahran market for dessert. As the night wore on, we moved from the dining room to the billiards room to examine exhibits A & B and more secrets were revealed. Then, off to the den, we sat in front of the TV for more instructions from the dvd that was playing and finally put in our guesses of who murdered Lord Jagged. It was so much fun and I know that I'll miss these guys so much. Kaja and Alice (who are in Italy) called to say hello and I was absolutely ecstatic. We passed the phone round and for a while, it almost felt like it was a complete Vis thing (albeit sans Shen and Jen). And as I drove home in the early morning through the fog and cold, I knew that while I'd miss them (among others) dearly, we'd become such great friends; and that was enough.
who killed lord michael jagged?
