A JOURNAL

About Rose:
I grew up in Singapore, lived in Melbourne but currently call London home. I love gastronomic adventures, especially while travelling. I stated writing at 17 to remember how it all began.

10 February 2009

tuesday; 9.40pm

I miss
- having someone ask me what I'm having for lunch that day;
- calling someone without worrying that I'm ten hours behind;
- tennis lessons;
- the look you give me when I drink what you call my bucket of tea;
- funky curry II lunches;
- summer days by the beach; and
- chats in the kitchen with Mim.

I now love
- singing songs with Sonia while we're both cooking;
- planning weekend trips;
- feeling that this is what/ where I'm meant to do/be;
- having my landlady who does lovely things for me;
- "Love Me Like the World is Ending" by Ben Lee;
- that I'm finally able to meet up with friends in Europe; and
- meeting international lawyers from all over the world.

"You always did kind of drive me crazy
and it pissed me off ‘cause I let it faze me
But I never wanted my time with you to end
Now I’m back in town for a day or two
and mostly I came back just to see you
I’m leaving now but I don’t want to go"
-the guy that says goodbye, griffin house
