It's been a while. I'm not sure how it's happened but it is now Spring. I have spent the first quarter of this year exploring and growing much like the darling buds of May.
Professionally I have embarked on adding a new area of practice which has been a challenge in of itself as I juggle my existing work. I am also taking on different opportunities at work getting involved in different initiatives and pushing forward with different aspects of career progression.
Then there's also the studying I've been trying to cram in for qualification exams. It is nothing short of exhausting switching from what feels like a job and more, and then to studying in the evenings.
Personally, I've grown to be more patient while I watch another fulfil his dream and working very hard at it. He has now gone off to Phoenix and we are, yet again, apart. We are however making strides and just like the garden I have been working on, we are tending to and nurturing the best parts of our relationship but it is taking time.
All of this is coinciding with Ramadan and I am trying to take this time to de-clutter my mind and prioritise only the stuff that truly matters. Wish me luck!
